Beer of the Festival 2014
CAMRA in Gloucester are proud to announce that after counting the votes from many of our 1,000 visitors on the first day of our festival; Beer of the Festival for 2014 has been awarded to the Corinium Brewery for their beer Pliny the Elderflower. A Very drinkable 3.8% Golden Ale. Joint owners of the brewery Lucy Cordrey and Colin Knight were delighted to receive the award, presented during our Saturday session.
Lucy admits that the ale was orginally launched as a seasonal; but became one of their regular range after the excellent support it received during events in 2013. Named for the Philosopher and Naturalist Pliny the Elder.
If you missed the chance to try this fantastic ale or just wanted to try it again. It is being officially launched at the Cirencester Farm Market on April 12th.
